Summer Fashion On A Budget With Highstreet Outlet*

Hello!
Today I’ve got a fashion collaboration that I am REALLY EXCITED ABOUT to share with you! HighstreetOutlet recently contacted me and asked if I’d like to review some of their items, and I simply couldn’t turn it down! Their company ethos is ‘every woman deserves to look and feel good regardless of age, colour, shape or budget’, and I just love that.
Highstreet Outlet specialise in bringing you your favourite highstreet brands- with up to 90% off! Making brands such as French connection, ASOS, Coast, Oasis and Laura Ashley more affordable, whilst still maintaining the same great quality! Family run and based in Dorset, I get a really wholesome vibe from this company, and I couldn’t be happier to be giving their clothes a go.
Plus, I’m really getting into sustainable fashion recently, which I think you will be able to see from my choice of items! I’ve opted for comfy fits and fabrics that will last; a cooler, more linen, approach to the summer heat.
So, here’s some of the looks that I created…
The Navy Wrap Dress

Okay, it has to be said, I adore this dress! The material quality is amazing and it hangs just beautifully! Unfortunately, due to my chest size (completely my fault for not sizing up), it doesn’t quite do-up the way that it should, but an elastic band has fixed that and I would definitely wear it anyway!

This is the perfect dress for the day-to-night transition as it’s just so versatile! Layer it with a white tee underneath and some sandals for a daytime look, or pair it with a lacy bralette and a pair of heels for a night time look. Or, if you’re feeling super brave, you could even wear it open! I’ve decided that I probably wouldn’t wear it out like that because it’s a lot of boobage for my liking, but I know that others could rock it that way!
I also love the length, the perfect midi dress and a wrap around dress never fails to look great. The buckle detail is the highlight for me though, it gives me 90s vibes and I am here for it. Plus, it really adds a little something to the dress.

The White Pocket Tunic Shirt

Next I picked up this shirt. I’ve got to be honest, I mainly picked it up because the collar was just too cute to resist! But, I’m a fan of this too. Although the material is a little thin, it’s lightweight and perfect for the heat. I would style this open over a lil’ t-shirt and short combo, or even tie it up for a casual summer look! It would look gorgeous open over this dress!

Linen Blend Drawstring Shorts
5
I’ve got to be honest, never in a million years would I have picked these up. BUT, I’ve been following Chloe Plumstead for a while now and I could totally see her styling these really well, so I took the plunge!
And, I absolutely love these! The linen blend makes them so soft and wearable! These are perfect for an adventurous day on holiday or, even just chilling around the house in because they are soooo comfortable! I love the colour too, and the fit is fab!
I did size up in these, but I don’t think I really needed to. They are a little big for me but the drawstring sorts that out, so if you did want to size up for comfort you definitely could!

Stripe Lace Overlay Shirt
7
The stand out item of this haul for me is this shirt! I wasn’t sure whether I loved the lace detail from looking at it online, but now I can say that I definitely do. I love a good shirt in the unpredictable weather as they can keep you cool but still look smart, or they can be styled for a casual look. This, paired with the shorts above, is a winning combo for me.
This one also buttons up over my boobs (can I get a hallelujah?!) and I got my normal size too (12) so it’s definitely true to size! I also love that this is versatile enough to be worn with jeans in the colder months, and the cotton is just so soft!
Finally, the blue and white combo here is a winner for me. The blue is soft enough to compliment the white, without a huge contrast. It’s also fab for anyone with blue eyes to really bring them out!

Polka Dot Scarf
2
Last but not least, we have this polka dot scarf! Why do you need a scarf in this weather? You may ask. Well, I actually originally picked this up to go in my hair, but it’s *a bit* too big for that purpose.
Oh well, I love it anyway!
It’s super light weight and a scarf like this can be used for so many different purposes! The white and grey compliment each other nicely, and the fabric is also super soft. Another winner.

What do you think of my picks?!
Thank you so much to Highstreet Outlet for kindly gifting them to me!
