Hello, hello, hello!

So, I said that I was gonna do this series every month, and then I realised that February isn’t a very long month at all! so, I have written this post anyway but, seen as I haven’t changed up my routine very much, it’s gonna be short one! Consider it a bite-sized digest!!

 Life Update

Well, well, well… my mental health has really taken a hit this month! I don’t really want to go into too much detail, to be honest, but I haven’t really felt like myself these last 4 weeks. I’ve been exhausted and anxious, and just not really in the best headspace. However, I have asked for help, and that’s always the first step!

I have also started a coding course that’s being ran through my university. It’s 8 weeks long and I’m only on week 4 so far, but I’m learning a lot! I have been doing brief Instagram stories about the sessions, but I’ve decided that I’m going to write a big post about my experience once I have finished!

Other than that, I am plodding along. And I will be fine, I promise, it’s all just a bit much for me right now.

What I’ve Been Watching/Listening To

I’ll be honest, Ariana’s new album has been my February soundtrack!! I’ve also gone back to my musical theatre roots and been ending the Heathers and Greatest Showman cast albums, with a bit of Disney too!

As for watching, Zack and I have re-discovered our love for Grace and Frankie which I am thrilled about! We are late to the Haunting of Hill House fan club (I know) but we have just finished it, and I happy cried! It’s a bizarre mix of genres, for sure, but it actually works so well and I’m glad we watched it!

We’ve also started The Assassination of Gianni Versace on Netflix, having loved the OJ Simpson series of American Crime Stories. Although we didn’t know much about Gianni Versace, but the series is really well directed and we’re enjoying it!

Finally, we’ve discovered the Netflix series ‘Stay Here’. It’s essentially a renovation programme where they renovate and market Air BnB’s and it’s become a bit of an end of the day guilty pleasure watch for us!

What I’ve Been Wearing

As I’m trying to create a capsule wardrobe, I’m being very very selective about the bits that I add to my wardrobe! So, I’ve only added one item, and that is this dress from Primark!

I think it cost me around £13 which is a great price, plus I love the style! It’s one of those items that is perfect for the Winter/Spring transition period and can be dressed up or down, so super versatile.

And that, my folks, is about it! What have you been loving this month? Lemme know in the comments.
