Conveniently located in the centre of town, this 18+ only crazy golf course is just for adults, and is perfect for a good night out! Complete with food and cocktails, you’re sure to have a good time.
On the launch evening, me and Abbey headed along and, to be honest, we were unsure as to what to actually expect. We understood that it was going to be crazy golf, but how crazy can golf actually get?
Well, I can safely say that this is for sure the craziest crazy golf that I have ever seen.
Complete with horror holes, office themed holes, football themed holes, and even toilet holes, this course is really one to remember! Plus, the neon lights and graffiti warehouse really add to the industrial vibe, and work perfectly with the music to create a really cool, unique atmosphere!
Me and Abbey had lots of laughs trying the course out, and after an intensive game (where we skipped a few holes, I’ll be honest, because launch night was super busy!) I came out the winner 😉.
We also got the chance to sample some of the delicious food and cocktails on offer, and they were definitely something to boast about! I opted for the ‘sex on the green’ cocktail which was a blend of vodka and peach schnapps and it was certainly very nice! Abbey, too, enjoyed her ‘Tiger Woods’ cocktail, even if we did agree that they were a little strong! (Strong can be a good thing when you’re a student though 😂).
Onto the food, we got a sample of the nachos and the vegan pizza, and both were tasty! I really enjoyed the nachos although Abbey remarked that there were too many onions on hers. As an onion lover, I was a fan, but I can understand that onion-overload is a bit much for some! The vegan pizza was actually the first ever vegan pizza that I’ve tried, and I’ve got to admit, I was very impressed! Properly stone baked and loaded with veg, I know what I’ll be ordering when I go back!
Upon first glance, I thought that the prices at Caddyshackers were *a bit* high. However, when I actually read into what you get in each package, they really aren’t bad! At £10 for 18 holes, it’s pretty affordable. Plus, on Mondays and Tuesdays, students can get 18 holes for just £5!
Caddyshackers also have packages that include food and drink, and for just £30pp you can get two cocktails/craft beers of your choice, plus food (either pizza or a hot dog). Considering how much you would probably spend when going out for a meal, that price really isn’t too bad!
Honestly, I am looking forward to heading back to Caddyshackers for a game and a cocktail or two now that they’re officially open! Will I see you there?
