Nothing’s better than cosying up and watching a good series or two in the colder months, and autumn happens to be my favourite time to do this! So, I’ve had a little browse of Netflix and compiled this list of my favourite shows to see you through the season.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
I have been obsessed with watching this recently. It’s like a cross between Sabrina the teenage witch and Riverdale, and I absolutely love it. It’s wonderfully far fetched at times, and obviously it’s got bits singing just like Riverdale, but I am really enjoying it.
On that note, why not watch the show itself? Yes, it’s a bit weird at times and VERY over the top, but I honestly love it so there we go.
How To Get Away With Murder
Okay, maybe I have got a little bored in the middle of season 2 of this one, but I am really hoping to pick it back up soon. Season 1 is AMAZING though, and I am so glad that I watched it!
Season 2 is coming to Netflix soon, so now is the perfect time to watch the gripping first season! Zack and I got through it in a weekend because we were so gripped; perfect binge-watching.
Call The Midwife
If you seriously haven’t started watching this yet, what are you? I couldn’t imagine a more heartwarming, amazing show than Call the Midwife. It has become a forever favourite of mine for sure.
Another show that I just couldn’t stop watching! It’s incredibly unique and gripping, and I bloody love it.
Looking for a series to make you feel all warm and fuzzy? This is the one! Queer Eye made me sob happy tears oh so many times, and I adored every episode!
Okay, so not technically a series, but all of them are currently on Netflix. Plus, they are a proper guilty pleasure of mine and what better time to get into the wonderful world of vampires and werewolves?
A show packed with hard-hitting episodes that never leave you, I wouldn’t recommend binge-watching Black Mirror. But, if you want a show that you equally look forward to and are a bit scared of watching in the evenings, this is the one for you.
